Intense purple almost black core. Pure nose of ripe dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, some new oak and butterscotch. The palate is very dense almost massive but balanced with ripe tannin, crunchy dark fruit and a fresh backbone, very long and grippy finish. Intense and ripe but with nuance and sufficient freshness, should age effortlessly.
