Inky black colour. Ripe dark fruit, layered spiciness, tobacco, pepper, clove and liquorice with some new oak. Very nice palate, dense but modest extraction, ripe tannin, savoury dark fruit with a fine herbal spiciness, sage, mint and finely tuned oak, balanced acidity and a long layered finish. Already nice but best after 2020 sometime.
