Inky dark purple colour. Ripe and sweet nose of violet, blackberry, liquorice and mild oak. The palate has more freshness than the nose indicates, young slightly firm tannin, lush dark fruit, modest oak, warm and ripe finish with long persistency and peppery notes. Should develop well.
