Dark purple colour. High ripeness on the nose, inky dark fruit, notably cassis and blackberry with sage, mint and some new oak. The palate is dense and powerful with a young texture, yet ripe tannin, fresh acidity, crunchy dark fruit with a layered spiciness and a very long fresh finish. Good material here. Should age tremendously, well balanced in a rich powerful style.
