Dark intense purple core. Modern nose with new oak, roasted notes, ripe dark fruit with plum, blackberry with vanilla, clove and pepper. The palate still has a dominance of oak, dense and full, a bit youthful and restrained but with nice pure fruit and a long finish, still needing time for the oak to settle.
