Dark ruby with a purple hue. Layered nose of dark fruit, with a fine spiciness, leather and discreet oak. The palate is dense with good weight and volume, abundant dark fruit like, plum and dark cherry with fine notes of black pepper, clove and some smoked meat. Well integrated wood and a long spicy finish, ripe and bold but with a fresh backbone and good drinkability.
