Intense inky core with some maturity on the rim. Intense ripeness and dark fruit notes with prune, black cherry, kirsch and liquorice. The palate is still youthful with a dense core, plenty of tannin but no hard edges, sweet blackberry, pepper and leather flavours with a long and dense finish. An ambitious wine, still needing some time to open.
