Dark and inky core. The nose is ambitious and modern with highly roasted oak, ripe black fruit and some jammed plums. The palate has a high concentration and extraction, nice fruit but still quite tannic and extracted with a roasted and smoky finish, high ambition but it certainly needs time to come around.
