Bodegas Franco Españolas – Bordón Gran Reserva – 2009

Rioja
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
Spain,
Rioja,
Dark ruby core and a mature rim. Mature nose taking on leather, spice sweet red fruit and tobacco aromas. Dense palate, still a rather youthful texture, high in tannin, spicy red fruit, a hint of oak with leather and tobacco. Dense, long and lingering with an approaching complexity, could still use some time to soften the tannin but well-built.
