Dark purple core and hue. Intense nose offering some toast and oak spice with ripe dark plum, cherry, aniseed, smoked meat and violet. The palate is dense and polished with fine grain, savoury dark fruit with a fresh backbone, integrated oak, meaty and peppery notes leading to a long and bold finish. Nicely done.
