Medium deep garnet red colour. The nose shows some new oak, almond, prune, dried cherry and herbal notes. Medium weight, still a youthful and firm texture with grippy tannin, discreet dried fruit notes, an elevated acidity, some oak presence and a medium to long finish. A restrained example needing longer ageing.
