Inky dark core and a slightly mature rim. Some new oak on the nose with dark plum, cherry, and licorice. The palate shows a good degree of concentration with finely rounded extract and grainy tannin, savoury dark fruit with aniseed, pepper and dried herb notes, well-integrated wood with just a hint of toast, very long eaty and powerful finish.
