Medium deep ruby red core and a lighter rim. Also the nose starts to show some evolution, sweet red fruit, mild spices, some new oak and some butterscotch. The palate is dense but balanced with nice and juicy red fruit, plenty of finely grained tannin, good integration of oak and fresh acidity. Long and intense finish with layers of peppery fruit, nice example, starting to open up and should last for many years.
