Dense ruby red core starting to lose colour on the rim. The nose has some maturity and displays hints of sweet berries, dry spices, ginger, new oak and tobacco. The palate has a high density, it still appears rather young with pronounced tannin, yet nice fruit and a complex spiciness on the finish, fine length too, should require some more cellaring to open up.
