Bodegas Maurodos – San Roman – 2008
Toro

Spain,
Castilla y Leon,
Very inky and massive colour the nose is still youthful and offers high ripeness and notes of prune, dark cherry, liquorice and some toasted new oak the palate is quite massive and concentrated, although with soft extraction and freshness that backs up the ripe fruit, there is still a presence of oak, but this should be integrated over the years to come. However, I would definitely tuck this away for another, 3-4 years to mature.
