Ripe dark centre and a purple rim. Meaty and intense aromas of smoked meat, ripe dark plum, cherry, dried herbs and balsamic notes with some vanilla and oak. The palate is dense and structured with a mature complexity, high amount of fine tannin, dried fruit like prune and fig, liquorice, tobacco and herbaceous spiciness leading to a long and lingering finish.
