Dense core, purple hue. Oaky nose with vanilla, spices and sweet fruit like prune and stewed berries. Full palate, dense and chewy with sweet fruit, new oak, vanilla and a rather long slightly tannic finish. Still a bit youthful with oak dominating and a tannic presence. Needs time.
