Rather dark ruby red core. Intense nose with darker fruit character, plum, cherry and cassis with some leather and new oak. The palate is dense and weighty, modern dark fruit, rounded texture with ripe tannin, quite ripe fruit as well but finely balanced with nice oak and fine spices like ginger, clove and pepper, good length and nice drinking today.
