Dark bright ruby with a purple hue. Pure and intense nose showing dark fruit like cherry, cassis, plum with some spicy notes of liquorice and aniseed, discreet wood. The palate has good density and weight but soft texture, still young tannin and a bright freshness, fresh dark fruit and a finely spicy finish, good persistency as well. Nice modern style drinking well today.
