Bodegas Riojanas – Monte Real Crianza – 2014

Medium deep ruby red starting to fade. Intense nose with good development and some complexity, more traditional style with spicy notes, fine oak, tobacco and sweet dried fruit. Classically built palate with a firm backbone, fresh acidity and generous fruit paired with dry spices and leather, rather persistent finish and an approaching complexity. Drinks well today.
