Intense and pure nose showing a gentle hint of oak, ripe fruit blending red and dark berries, plum and sloe berry with spicy notes of aniseed and a slight touch of vanilla and wood. Good grip and density on the palate, concentrated but moderate extraction, attractive fruit sprinkled with aniseed and pepper followed by a long vibrant finish.
