Inky dark purple core. The nose shows some new oak blending red and dark fruit with pepper, clove and mild spices. The palate is rather full and ample, still a youthful texture but no hard edges, fresh and vibrant with crushed fruit, some herbal notes and a steady finish, still with a tannic presence.
