Bodegas Toro Albalá – Don PX Viejas Cosechas – 1967

Deep black core with a brown/green rim, rather mature appearance. Spicy nose with some balsamic hints, pepper, clove and prune with tobacco and earl grey notes. Sweet and viscous palate, intense and demanding with an abundance of spicy dried fruit, Christmas pudding with some mature, nutty and "drier" notes followed by a long unctuous finish.
