Dense core and a ruby rim. Fine nose with some complexity and maturity, rather Bordeaux like with cassis, dark plum, tobacco and cedar wood. The palate is dense with layers of dark fruit, creme de cassis, fine wood, powdery tannin, and a very long, meaty finish. Well built with good drinkability, yet potential for further ageing.
