Dense inky core and a lighter rim. The nose is intense with roasted oak notes, dark fruit, leather and some balsamic notes. The palate is ample and full, starting to show some maturity, dried dark fruit, liquorice and tar flavours, fleshy and long finish with present but ripe tannins, some approaching complexity on the finish.
