Inky dark purple core and hue. Pure nose with chalky notes, wild berries, cassis, mild spices, and herbal touches of sage and bay leaf, with mild oak in the background. Good concentration and modest extraction, well-balanced freshness throughout, savoury fruit, a fine herbaceous spiciness, dense and long finish. Concentrated but not bold — nicely done.
