Dark ruby purple colour. Some maturity on the nose, balsamic notes, dark plum and new wood. The palate is full bodied and fleshy with a slightly tannic texture, flavours of vanilla and new wood, then dark plum and sweet berries, fairly long finish, still a bit marked by the oak but nice fruit and structure.
