Dark ruby colour with a purple core and lighter rim. Rather oaky nose with vanilla and dry wood. The palate starts out with some oak tannin and vanilla blended with red fruit, rather austere and tannic at present with high extraction and discreet fruit, it has length but finishes a bit dry with woody notes.
