Spain,
Castilla y Leon,
Very deep rosé colour, or very light ruby-red I would say, more the claret style of rosé. Youthful nose, displaying some nutty notes, like almond and then after that some red plum, red cherry, with something with citrus like grapefruit. Youthful and fresh palate, nicely rounded there, quiet soft in terms of texture with balanced tannins, quiet fine tannins in the background there. Youthful and fresh acidity, with fresh red fruity notes; like once again, red currant, with some herbal notes. Quite bold structure for a rosé wine. The persistence is quiet fine as well, it keeps lingering for a while. So well made for this style of richer and broader rosé wine. Not the classic aperitif style, but more of a meal time rosé.
