France,
Bordeaux,
Medium high colour intensity still appearing very youthful with a blue-purple nuance. Fresh nose with an emphasis of fruit, rather on the dark fruity side with darkplum, cassis. There are also some dried spices there like; pepper, caraway, anise seed. So slightly on that liquorice side, with dark fruit, not a lot of new oak. Palate is youthful, it is a bit more than medium weight in terms of structure. It is quite polished I would say already. There is a quite high level of extract, but the tannins don't really appear hard in any way. On the contrary, I think it contributes really to the length because it has a really long finish on this one. So attractive dark fruit, with plum, cassis, pepper and spicy notes. I just think it needs time to settle a little bit, round off the edges and it should offer a nice drinkability within the coming two to four years and keep a bit longer than that as well.
