Borgo Scopeto – Borgonero – 2010

Dark, inky colour; the nose is pure, floral with a high level of ripeness, dark plum, blackcurrant and cherry notes; the palate has dense texture packed with dark berries, good amount of tannin and extract, sufficient freshness to give the dark ripe fruit a lift; juicy, blackcurrant and dark, cherry flavours, fine spiciness, some meaty notes and a long persistence.
