Borgogno – Fossati – 2009

Barolo
MEDAILLE-TASTED-93-2024
Italy,
Piedmont,
Towards deep ruby with an orange rim. Fine nose blending red and dark fruit, sweet cherry, some floral notes, chocolate praline and mild spices. The palate is dense and voluminous with good proportions, ripe and grainy tannin, some new wood, sweet red fruit, well integrated acidity, fine spiciness and a long powerful finish, yet with elegance and nuance, very good.
