Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with a quite pale appearance, it seems almost orange on the rim, with a quite light core. It’s a wine that has got an evolution here, it’s a rather dried fruit character here, dried berries, prune, figs, leather, dried spices, vanilla. Quite traditional style I would say, that has got a long aging in oak. Palate appears quite austere here, we have a presence of tannin, a slightly dry sensation here with tannin, dry wood, dried spices and tobacco; a quite elevated acidity. On the palate the fruit appears more like sour red cherry. Fairly long finish here; I think this is certainly a traditional style that requires a long aging before we can fully enjoy it. I would put it back in the cellar to age it for a bit more, but it should certainly develop quite well.
