Bovio Gianfranco – Gattera – 2013

Medium deep ruby colour with a mature tawny rim. Spicy nose of liquorice, clove, pepper and bright red fruit with fine oak. The palate is youthful, still a bit restrained with a tannic presence, yet elegant fruit, a fresh backbone, and a finely spicy and long finish. Needs some more time to open.
