Brand et Fils – Chemin du Rimlen Macération – 2019

Rather deep orange/amber colour. Complex and intense nose displaying spicy ginger, clove, citrus zest with red berries, dried fruit and tobacco, almost reminiscent of mature red Burgundy. Bone dry and biting freshness, good layers with plenty of character without oxidation, fine extract/tannin with a long and spicy finish. Well-done in an alternative style.
