Ca del Bosco – Vintage Collection Brut – 2011

Bright straw colour with a green hue, lively and fine bubbles. Intense nose, still youthful but with vinosity and depth showing some new oak, butter, « pain d´epices » with ripe lemon, stone fruit, pear and crushed nuts, yet with good purity and clarity. The palate is dense and powerful with intense and nutty flavour, underlined by a vital acidity and creamy mousse, bright stone fruit flavours, ripe citrus, persistent and lingering flavours on the finish. Still young, but complex and very potent, should develop tremedously well.
