Intense dark purple colour. Pure and layered nose with ripe dark fruit with blackberry, cassis, pepper, mint and sage with discreet oak in the background. The palate has good density and weight with modest ripeness and alcohol, well concealed oak as well, fresh backbone and juicy dark fruit like crushed blackberry with a long, juicy finish. Nice drinkability and nuance here.
