Deep ruby colour with a purple core. Layered nose, still on the youthful side with cassis, dark fruit, tobacco and dry spices. The palate is on the fuller side, still with a tannic presence, a hint of oak, fresh backbone, layers of red and dark fruit, a mild spiciness and a long finish. Still a youthful example deserving some more time to open and for the tannin to soften but fine potential.
