Dark inky purple colour and hue. Pure nose with layers of ripe cassis, plum and black cherry with a hint of herbal spiciness like bay leaf and sage. Dense and bold palate having both concentration and freshness, rather cassis/Cabernet-like in texture with leather, tobacco and spice on the finish. Long and dense aftertaste, still youthful with intense tannin but potent for long ageing.
