Dark purple core with a mature ruby rim. Pure and fragrant nose, displaying some grassy notes, sage, bay leaf, cassis, dark cherry, tobacco with a mild oak-derived spiciness. Dense and concentrated alate with a modest extraction, refreshing and lifted tannin with layers of savoury dark fruit, tobacco and herbaceous spice notes with good oak integration and a long muscular finish.
