Intense dark purple colouring the glass. Ripe nose of sweet plum, cassis and kirsch, Port-like with high ripeness and some new oak. Very dense palate, high extract, both acidity, tannin and oak more present than fruit. Rather long but still on the tannic side needing time to smoothen.
