Medium deep ruby red colour. Layered nose offering ripe cherry, sweet red berries, tobacco, fine wood and floral notes. Very dense palate with a tannic richness yet with soft edges for the variety, sweet fruit flanked by plenty of spice and freshness. Powerful yet silky finish with extraordinary power and balance. Good now but should improve over the next 10 years.
