Cantina Rotaliana – Superiore Riserva – 2011

Very dark colour, very youthful with an inky black core. Medium intense nose, with a mix of red and dark berries; there’s some leafy notes there, some hints of bay leaf, some green leafs as well. Palate has medium weight, quite high acidity, mild tannin. Youthful quite restrained fruit; medium length, with a slight vegetal presence, some leafy and herbal notes, high acid. Feels a bit young and restrained, I would prefer to give this a few years to round off those edges.
