Mature ruby red colour. Intense nose, mature with a balsamic spiciness, wild herbs, sweet and dried fruit. The palate is still rather youthful with high tannin, plenty of wild herbs with sour cherry, red berries and leather. Rather long on the finish but still needs time in a decanter or another few years in the cellar.
