Switzerland,
Tessin,
Red wine with a medium high colour intensity here, ruby-red. Young on the nose, with a presence of roasted wood, vanilla, fruitiness leans towards the red fruity side with plum, red berries, quite mild spices. The palate has medium weight. It is quite polished. There is nothing hard, in terms of extract it feels quite mild and rounded, offering a sweet red cherry, red currant. There is a fine spiciness. There is some lightly herbaceous notes, but not in a negative way, more like sage, adding a certain freshness here. So a classic medium weight, already with a certain subtleness, good balance. Fine integration of oak. Medium towards long finish. Appearing a bit youthful on the aftertaste. If you want to, it is a wine that should drink fine after a slight aeration. And it should continue to develop over the course of four to six years.
