Intense inky core, the nose is port like with plum, cassis and jammed berries with pepper and clove notes, the texture is viscous and opulent, like a sweet wine but without the sweetness, generous fruit, mellow tannin, still balanced acidity and a rather long finish, warm and ripe without over ripeness.
