Medium deep ruby red colour with an orange rim. Some maturity on the nose, a hint of oak, leather, dried cherry and red fruit. The palate is in the medium bodied range with a fresh backbone, integrated tannin, crushed cherry flavours with ginger and clove, and good length. Well-balanced in a pure traditional style.
