Capezzana – Villa di Capezzana – 2008

Dark ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Mature and intense nose offering hints of leather, liquorice, spices, kirsch, truffle and dark fruit. The palate is dense, still a tannic presence but starting to soften, cherry confiture, dried fruit and plenty of spiciness. Long and lingering finish with fine complexity and generous fruit.
