Mature ruby red with an orange rim. Mature nose of darker fruit, some confiture, sweet spices, tobacco and leather. Good grip on the palate, powerful, with a dense texture, still on the tannic side but no harshness, layers of sweet fruit with tobacco leaf and spice box, juicy and lingering fruit flavours and a very long finish, could easily be enjoyed today but will improve with ageing too.
