Medium deep ruby red core and a tawny rim. The nose is rather intense and ripe with red berries, rosé and cherry, cedar wood and tobacco. The palate has medium weight, good flavor intensity, a young core of tannin, high acidity, ripe red cherry and raspberry flavor, long and lingering finish, well structured and potent for the cellar, a bit closed on the finish at present.
